    Amy Long joined SILC in the summer of 2009, as the  Associate Director for Greek life and Leadership Programs. In this position she will working with the four councils (IFC,PHA, NPHC, and NALFO) to better the Greek community and follow through with the four pillars that each council has adopted through various programs and events. Most recently, Amy served last the Greek Leadership Advisor, in the Holden Leadership Center at the University of Oregon. She has also worked in Residence life at Luther College.

     

    Amy earned her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, and her M.S. in College Student Personnel Services from Western Illinois University.

     

    Amy is the National Director of Membership Development for Sigma Kappa Sorority, and volunteers her time as a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is also a member of the Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA)and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators(NASPA).

     

    Amy is an alumna of the Delta Sigma chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority at Western Illinois University.

    Colleen serves as the Assistant Director of the Student Involvement and Leadership Center for Greek Life and Leadership Programs. She came to KU in the summer of 2008 from UNC where she served as the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Colleen completed her B.A. degree in English and Psychology from Truman State University. She earned her master’s degree in College Student Affairs from Purdue University. While at Purdue University, Colleen interned with Triangle Fraternity Headquarters in Plainfield, IN.

    Within the Student Involvement and Leadership Center, Colleen serves as the advisor to the Interfraternity Council. She also works with KU LEAD, the LeaderShape Institute, Blueprints Leadership Conference, and the Freshmen Leadership Council.

     

    Colleen is an alumna of the Delta Sigma Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority at Truman State University.

    As one of the newest members of the SILC team, Lauren began at KU during the summer of 2010.  She serves as the Panhellenic advisor while working towards the completion of her master’s degree in Higher Education at KU.  Most recently, Lauren finished a year of service as an Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) for Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity Headquarters.  Originally from Chicago, IL, Lauren earned her B.A. in Organizational Communication from Purdue University.

     

    Lauren is an alumna of the Alpha Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at Purdue University.

    Anne is a first-year student in the Higher Education Administration master’s program.   She received her bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Iowa where she was very involved in Greek Life and other campus organizations. Currently, Anne is a graduate intern working with Fraternity and Sorority Life. She serves as the advisor to the MGC Council.

     

    Anne is an alumna of the Beta Omicron chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity at the University of Iowa.
